NRC035 Peco 7 Plank Open Wagon - T H Carter, Haslemere

Exclusive to Kernow Model Rail Centre

T.H Carter was a Haslemere, Surrey, coal and coke merchant from the first Decade of the 20^th century. Their Private Owner wagon numbered 15 in the tradition of giving privately owned wagons high numbers to imply a fleet, was registered with the London & South Western Railway, Registration No.1478 in 1907.

It is not clear how long the business continued after the mid 1920s.

The Kernow Model Rail Centre Exclusive model in N Gauge is being produced for KMRC by PECO Ltd.  The model is based on their RCH 1907 specification seven Plank open wagon with a 9 foot wheelbase, detachable couplings and metal-tyred wheels for free running.
